Stop leaving voicemail messages!

If you are leaving voicemail messages when prospecting you are doing yourself a disservice. When you leave a voicemail message you give the prospect too much control because they now know you called which means you can't phone back for a decent amount of time.

Your job as a salesperson is to interrupt people, make a connection and set an appointment. That becomes harder not easier when you leave voicemails. In my experience prospects do not call back unless they happen to be in the 3% of clients that are thinking of buying your product today.
